Prayers 3
Panikhida (Service for those Fallen
Asleep)
Give rest, O God, to the souls of Thy servants,
and set them in Paradise, where the choirs of the
Saints and the Just shine like the stars. Give
rest, O Lord, to Thy departed servants, and
overlook all their offenses.

Prayer for Holy Rest
O Lord, support us all day long, until the shadows
lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy
world lies hushed, and the fever of life is over,
and our work is done. Then in thy mercy grant us
a safe lodging, and a holy rest, and peace at the
last.

Prayer for One Who Has Passed
Almighty God, we remember before thee this day
thy faithful servant (name); and we pray that,
having opened to him the gates of larger life,
thou wilt receive him more and more into thy
joyful service, that, with all who have faithfully
served thee in the past, he may share in the
eternal victory of Jesus Christ our Lord; who
liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the
Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer For Recently Deceased
O God, Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful,
grant to the souls of your servants departed full
remission of all their sins, that, through the help
of devout supplications, they may obtain the
pardon of which they have always been
desirous. Who livest and reignest, world with out
end. Amen

Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory
Most merciful Father, we commend our departed
into your hands. We are filled with the sure hope
that our departed will rise again on the last day
with all who have died in Christ.  We thank you
for all the good things you have given during our
departed's earthly life. O Father, in your great
mercy, accept our prayer that the Gates of
Paradise may be opened for your servant.  In
our turn, may we too be comforted by the words
of faith until we greet Christ in glory and are
united with you and our departed. Through
Christ our Lord, Amen.

Prayer For those Who Mourn
Bless those who mourn, eternal God, with the
comfort of your love that they may face each new
day with hope and the certainty that nothing can
destroy the good that has been given. May their
memories become joyful, their days enriched with
friendship, and their lives encircled by your love.
Amen.

Prayer for Those Who Mourn 2
Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of
all comfort: Deal graciously, we pray thee, with
those who mourn, that casting every care on
thee, they may know the consolation of thy love,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Prayer of Solace
May Christ support us all the day long, till the
shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and
the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is
over and our work is done. Then in his mercy
may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and
peace at the last. Amen.

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he
leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my
soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for
his name's sake. Even though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they
comfort me. You prepare a table before me in
the presence of my enemies. You anoint my
head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness
and love will follow me all the days of my life, and
I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Requiem Liturgy
O God of spirits and of all flesh, You have trampled
upon death and have abolished the power of the
devil, giving life to Your world. Give rest to the soul
of Your departed servant (Name) in a place of light,
in a place of repose, in a place of refreshment,
where there is no pain, sorrow, and suffering. As a
good and loving God, forgive every sin he (she) has
committed in thought, word or deed, for there is no
one who lives and does not sin. You alone are
without sin. Your righteousness is an everlasting
righteousness, and Your word is truth.

in death. - St. Ambrose (?)

St. Ambrose Prayer 2
We have loved him during life. Let us not abandon

St. Theresa's Prayer
May today there be peace within. May you trust God
that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are
born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have
received, and pass on the love that has been given
to you... May you be content knowing you are a
child of God. Let this presence settle into your
bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing,
dance, praise and love. It is there for each and
every one of you.

Vigésimo tercero Salmo - 23rd Psalm
El Señor es mi pastor; nada me falta, en verdes
pastos él me hace reposar y adonde brota agua
fresca me conduce. Fortalece mi alma,
por el camino del bueno me dirige por amor de su
nombre. Aunque pase por quebradas muy oscuras
no tengo ningún mal, porque tú estás
conmigo, tu bastón y tu vara me protegen. Me
sirves a la mesa frente a mis adversarios, con
aceites tú perfumas mi cabeza y rellenas mi copa.
Me acompaña tu bondad y tu favor
mientras dura mi vida, mi mansión será la casa del
Señor por largo, largo tiempo.

Willingness
Let my heart be the vessel of God's Love.
Let my thoughts be the blossom of God's Love.
Let my words be the expression of God's Love.
Let my actions be the fulfillment of God's Love.
